The program welcomes applicants that represent the diversity of children and families served by pediatric hospital medicine. The program uses a holistic review process to recruit self-directed learners who seek to further develop their skills as clinician-educators and leaders in the field of pediatric hospital medicine.
Applicants must be graduates of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited pediatric or medicine-pediatrics residency and board-certified or board-eligible in general pediatrics. The program does not offer international visa support.
The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program Fall Subspecialty Match, with all dates in accordance with their policies. For the 2021 application cycle, applications will be accepted from June 1 through Sept. 1. Interview invitations will be sent starting July 21 . Interviews will be completed in August and September.

In alignment with current recommendations from national organizations, including APPD/CoPS/AMSPDC/NextGenPediatricians, all interviews for the 2021 application cycle will be conducted virtually. The virtual interview day will include meetings with program leadership, faculty and current fellows.
