The child neurology program mirrors the Dell Medical School’s focus on educating future physician leaders and developing innovative models of health care and education. The program is committed to creating an exceptional learning experience that prepares each resident to enter academic positions, private practice or additional fellowship training.

Each resident spends the first two years with the Dell Medical School’s Pediatric Residency, participating in child neurology educational and social sessions as time permits. The Pediatric Residency’s teaching staff includes pediatric hospitalists, outpatient pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists and pediatric subspecialty surgeons who work directly with our residents. This strong foundation in general pediatrics prepares each resident well for continued training in child neurology.
The requisite adult neurology training is completed with members of the medical school’s growing adult neurology faculty, utilizing an innovative strategy that meshes adult and pediatric training. The Child Neurology Residency ensures exposure to a broad range of neurological disorders.
The Child Neurology Residency is affiliated with the Neurology and Pediatrics departments at Dell Medical School.
