About the Event
In this installment of the Department of Ophthalmology and Mitchel and Shannon Wong Eye Institute’s Continuing Medical Education Series, Dell Medical School’s senior ophthalmology residents Brandon Bates, M.D.; Arman Mosenia, M.D.; and Kirby Taylor, M.D., present “Blades of Glory! Surgical Cases and Peer Discussion.”
In-person attendees are encouraged to attend at 5:30 p.m. for a reception sponsored by Ascension prior to the lecture that begins at 6 p.m.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Analyze complex surgical cases presented by PGY-4 residents and identify evidence-based management strategies.
- Evaluate indications, contraindications and outcomes for advanced surgical interventions across multiple specialties.
Target Audience
- Primary: Physicians in ophthalmology
- Secondary: Any discipline physicians and physician extenders
