About

Eric L. Crowell, M.D., MPH, is an assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology.

Crowell has been a clinical assistant professor with the Ruiz Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science in the McGovern Medical School at the UT Health Science Center at Houston since 2018. In Houston, he has also been an attending physician at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital and the LBJ ambulatory surgical center.

Crowell received his medical degree and Master of Public Health at UT Health Houston. Before that, Crowell received his Bachelor of Business Administration from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and he is thrilled to be back.
