About the Event
In this installment of the Department of Ophthalmology and Mitchel and Shannon Wong Eye Institute’s Continuing Medical Education Series, Robert Feldman, M.D., presents “Primary Angle Closure: New Understanding, New Management.” Dr. Feldman is a professor and the Associate Chair of Research in the Department of Ophthalmology at Dell Medical School.
In-person attendees are encouraged to attend at 5:30 p.m. for a reception prior to the lecture that begins at 6 p.m.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Describe the roles of anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) and ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) in the diagnosis and management of primary angle closure disease.
- Identify clinical situations in which treatment is indicated for patients with primary angle closure suspect (PACS).
- Evaluate emerging surgical approaches for the management of primary angle closure glaucoma and their appropriate clinical applications.

- Primary: Physicians in ophthalmology
- Secondary: Any discipline physicians and physician extenders
