About the Event
In this installment of the Department of Ophthalmology and Mitchel and Shannon Wong Eye Institute’s Continuing Medical Education Series, Neil R. Miller, M.D., presents “Ischemic Optic Neuropathies: Classification, Diagnosis and Management.” Miller is a professor emeritus of ophthalmology, neurology and neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
In-person attendees are encouraged to attend at 5:30 p.m. for a reception prior to the lecture that begins at 6 p.m.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Describe the three different types of ischemic optic neuropathy.
- Outline the similarities and difference in the clinical presentations of the three types of ischemic optic neuropathies.
- Describe the management of patients with each of the three types of ischemic optic neuropathy.
