Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences

Dell Medical School is establishing an innovative neurology clinic that combines UT Austin’s state-of-the-art research with advanced clinical operations, thanks to a $50 million gift from James and Miriam Mulva.

Pulling from strengths that exist across the university and in the community, the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences is poised to become a world-class center for the treatment and study of neurological diseases — diseases that deeply affect patients and families.

The clinic will underwrite neuroscience research and clinical operations with a special emphasis initially on Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and bipolar disorder.

Through the Mulva Clinic, we will open a new range of services and treatments to the people of Central Texas — including low-income and uninsured patients — reinforcing our role in improving health in our community as a model for the nation.
