About the Event
In this installment of the Department of Ophthalmology and Mitchel and Shannon Wong Eye Institute’s Continuing Medical Education Series, Russell N. Van Gelder, M.D., Ph.D., presents “Seven Deadly Sins of Uveitis Practice.” Van Gelder serves as the Boyd K. Bucey Memorial Professor and Chair for the Department of Ophthalmology at University of Washington’s School of Medicine. He also serves as director for the Roger and Angie Karalis Johnson Retina Center and the UW Vision Science Center.
In-person attendees are encouraged to attend at 6 p.m. for a reception prior to the lecture that begins at 6:30 p.m.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Recognize life-threatening conditions presenting as uveitis.
- Describe appropriate work-up of the uveitis patient for these conditions.
Target Audience
- Primary: Physicians in ophthalmology
- Secondary: Any discipline physicians and physician extenders
