Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Identify risk factors for Barrett’s esophagus and esophageal cancer that should lead to endoscopic screening.
- Define familial risk of Barrett’s esophagus.
- Understand how alterations in specific inherited genes contribute to development of Barrett’s esophagus.
