Liam Goldman

About
Liam Goldman was raised in Columbus, Georgia. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he majored in neuroscience and double minored in religious studies and chemistry. Liam returned to his home state to receive his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. His early research interests included the computational development of therapies for neurodegenerative disorders such as Huntington’s disease, and more recently, he has focused on the long-term outcomes of mild and severe traumatic brain injury. In his free time, Liam enjoys traveling, live music, soccer, and loves spending time outdoors whitewater kayaking.

Victor Castaño

About
Victor Castaño was born and raised in the California Bay Area. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology and anthropology at Columbia University in New York City. Castaño also earned his medical degree and a master’s degree in biomedical informatics research at Columbia. His thesis focused on the development of the first electronic medical record phenotype of drug-resistant epilepsy, a surgically treatable condition. Castaño is passionate about surgical outcomes research, medical education, and community outreach. He spends his spare time crushing watts on his bike, running games of pick-up basketball, watercolor painting and cooking Chile Verde.

Vik Kohli
Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin (M.D., MBA)
About
Vik Kohli was raised in both Danbury, Connecticut, and Coppell, Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in computational biology. He then worked as a data analytics engineer before returning to UT Austin for medical school. His research interests include data science applications in neuro-oncology and spine surgery. Outside of the hospital, Kohli enjoys playing pick-up sports, exploring new restaurants and investing all too much time on fantasy football.
