About
Bob Vezzetti, M.D., is originally from Brownsville, Texas, and he earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his pediatrics residency at Austin medical education programs and his fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children in Virginia.
Vezzetti is currently an attending physician in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin. He is a faculty member in Dell Med’s Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship, and he serves as the course director for the PEM radiology course and associate program director and simulation director in the Pediatrics Residency at Dell Med. In addition to numerous residency and fellowship committees, he serves on the governor’s EMS and Trauma Advisory Council.
