About

Paul Harford is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Dell Medical School at The university of Texas at Austin. He is an attending physician for the medical intensive care unit and pulmonary consult services at Dell Seton Medical Center.

He serves as a teacher and role model for medical students, interns, residents and fellows. His current studies include research in neuromuscular weakness and biomedical engineering innovation. He mentors Ph.D. and master’s degree candidates at The University of Texas at Austin in the preparation and coordination of clinical trials in the ICU population. He has an interest in circulating biomarkers related to neuromuscular junction aging and degradation.
