Moise L. Levy, M.D.

Moise L. Levy, M.D., is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics.

Levy has been practicing academic pediatric dermatology since 1986 and came to Austin in 2008. He has been a mentor to many trainees in pediatric dermatology during his years of work, and many of those are now in academic positions in the United States. His interests have been in general pediatric dermatology as well as in genetic skin diseases, birthmarks and neonatal skin disorders. Levy is also recognized as a true patient and family advocate in the health care realm.

In honor of Levy’s outstanding contributions to the pediatrics and dermatology communities, his colleagues at Dell Medical School have established the Moise and Joan Levy Endowed Excellence Fund in Dermatology.
