Michael Dean

About

Michael Dean is the medical education manager for evaluation and faculty development at Dell Medical School. His responsibilities include assisting the associate dean for evaluation and assessment, program evaluation, assessment of learning, planning and overseeing events in medical education, and managing the Dell Med Academy of Distinguished Educators.

Dean has over 15 years’ experience managing and developing events in higher education and the private sectors. His past role at UT Austin was the program coordinator of events in the College of Education, where he managed orientation, parents’ weekend, Explore UT, Honors Day, Teacher Career Fairs and graduation.

Dean received his Bachelor of Arts in social sciences at Trine University in Angola, Indiana, with a focus on social studies education in 2006.
