C. Menaka Jayasundera, M.D.

Menaka Jayasundera is an assistant professor of internal medicine at Dell Medical School. Her practice includes the management of complex hospitalized patients with multi-system diseases, perioperative medicine and care transitions, with a particular interest in health care inequities. Throughout the years, she has maintained a focus on medical education. Having won several teaching awards at Dell Med, she enjoys mentoring varying levels of learners and participating in projects at the medical school. When possible, Jayasundera engages in volunteering, gardening, and giving back to the community she has lived in for over 25 years, along with her husband and two children.
