About

Mahmoud Y. Madi, M.D., is a board-certified gastroenterologist in Digestive Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. He specializes in providing comprehensive clinical care across all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology, including liver disease, GI disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening, nutritional counseling and digestive epidemiology.

Madi earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center, where he was awarded Resident of the Year, and served as chief fellow during his fellowship in gastoenterology and hepatology at Saint Louis University Hospital.

Madi has received multiple accolades, including awards in teaching excellence. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
