About

Kari Whatley, M.D., is a practicing child and adolescent psychiatrist. She has a special interest in working with children in the inpatient setting, children with a history of trauma and with children in the Children’s Blood and Cancer Center at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Whatley received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, then completed her residency in psychiatry at the Louisiana State University — Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship program at Dell Medical School. She has a strong interest in leadership and academics.
