About

Kamran Shaikh is the director of the cardiovascular MRI program at the Ascension Seton Family of Hospitals, director of the cardio-pulmonary noninvasive laboratory at Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays, medical director at Austin Area Echo Society and a member of the Society of Cardiac CT. He completed an advanced echocardiography fellowship and a cardiac MRI fellowship at Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center.

Shaikh is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases, adult congenital heart disease, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and echocardiography. He is a premier cardiac imager in Central Texas with exceptional knowledge of both echocardiography and advanced imaging. Shaikh is dedicated to teaching and to the care of his patients by using clear evidence-based medicine and educates them on their conditions.
