About
Jack Virostko performs quantitative biomedical imaging in both preclinical and clinical studies. He has experience with MRI, nuclear imaging and optical imaging across anatomical sites. His research encompasses both technological development and application — primarily to the fields of oncology, diabetes and metabolism.
Virostko received his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and his master’s and doctorate in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University. He received postdoctoral training at the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science followed by completion of a master’s in clinical investigation.
