About
Before joining Dell Medical School, Jadranko Corak taught at UT Southwestern at Austin from 2009-2015 and at UT Medical Branch at Austin from 2005-2008.
Additionally, Corak served as a primary care physician in general medicine at the Primary Care Medical Center Bihac, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 1981-1987. Corak served as assistant professor in the internal medicine and hematology department at University Medical Center Sarajevo, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 1987-1994.
Corak’s current and previous leadership positions include being a member of the Dell Med senate, director of the Brackenridge Hospital anticoagulation clinic and a member of the peer-review Committee at Brackenridge Hospital. He has numerous teaching awards, including the Attending of the Year award for the internal medicine program and the Excellence in Teaching award at Dell Med.
