About
Clay Cauthen is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist who serves as program director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Dell Medical School. In addition, he lectures first- and second-year medical students in cardiology at Dell Medical School. Cauthen rounds in the CICU and advanced heart failure service at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin as well as the cardiology consult service at Dell Seton Medical Center. In addition to advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, Cauthen serves as the clinical lead for the cardio-oncology clinic. Cauthen is also heavily involved with clinical research.
