About

Alyssa Kwok, M.D., is a board-certified rheumatologist. She has outpatient clinical sites at CommUnityCare Health Centers and the Austin VA Clinic, and she sees inpatient rheumatology consults at Dell Seton Medical Center and Ascension Seton Medical Center.

After earning an undergraduate degree double majoring in French and psychology from Wellesley College, Kwok worked at an advertising agency on Madison Avenue before discovering an interest in medicine. She earned her post-baccalaureate pre-medical certificate at Hunter College of the City University of New York while working as a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, she began her training at a combined internal medicine/emergency medicine residency before transitioning to a categorical internal medicine residency. She completed her rheumatology fellowship in the heart of Los Angeles at the historic LAC+USC Medical Center and Keck School of Medicine.
