About
Ahmed D. Sesay, M.D., is a pulmonary and critical care specialist with Ascension Medical Group. Sesay completed his internal medicine residency at Cooper University Hospital, where he was a chief resident. He then went on to complete his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Prior to joining Dell Medical School, Sesay was a partner at a private practice in Asheville, North Carolina, and served as a clinical assistant professor of medicine and critical care course director at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Asheville. Sesay’s academic interests include sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary nodules and chronic critical care illness. He is also interested in equity in medical education and health care.
