Providing continuing medical education is a key role for Dell Medical School as it partners with the healthcare community to revolutionize the way people get and stay healthy.
The Office of Continuing Medical Education at Dell Med endorses the practice of life-long learning by facilitating educational opportunities for a range of participants to promote quality health care, patient safety and professional competencies.
Specifically, the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program:
- Delivers comprehensive, objective, and evidence-based continuing medical education activities, encouraging the academic and professional development of health care providers.
- Furthers scientific discovery and advancement.
- Promotes innovation and improvement in the delivery of health care.
Participants: Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, visiting guests, and other interprofessional providers who practice primary, specialty, and subspecialty care.
Formats: Interactive lecture-based instruction, case-based discussion, hands-on training sessions and small group workshops. Our live activities are comprised of single and multiple-day conferences as well as regularly scheduled series.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education only produces independent activities which are free from commercial support. They are implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
