About

Alyssa Kwok, M.D., is a board-certified rheumatologist. She has outpatient clinical sites at CommUnityCare Health Centers and the Austin VA Clinic, and she sees inpatient rheumatology consults at Dell Seton Medical Center and Ascension Seton Medical Center.

After earning an undergraduate degree in French and psychology from Wellesley College, Kwok worked at an advertising agency on Madison Avenue before discovering an interest in medicine. She earned a postbaccalaureate premedical certificate at Hunter College and worked as a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before obtaining a medical degree from the University of Vermont. She began training at the University of Illinois at Chicago in a combined internal medicine/emergency medicine residency before transitioning to a categorical internal medicine residency. She completed rheumatology fellowship in the heart of Los Angeles at the historic LAC+USC Medical Center and Keck School of Medicine.
