The Texas Health CoLab leads Dell Medical School's health product innovation and commercialization efforts through various programs open to a range of innovators. As part of the school's work to revolutionize how people get and stay healthy, the team serves to identify, assess, develop, fund and launch promising health product ideas and collaborations.
Texas Health CoLab aims to:
- Enable a robust health innovation ecosystem;
- Support products and business models that enable Dell Med's mission; and,
- Empower Dell Med's long-term financial sustainability.
Texas Health Catalyst supports promising translational research and ideas that have the potential to lower costs and improve health care outcomes. Advisory panel members provide expert feedback to teams as they advance discoveries.
Companies and entrepreneurs come together at Dell Med to develop new products that align with the mission of the school while co-locating with our leaders in research, clinical care and other areas.
Educational opportunities led by Dell Med clinical leaders and seasoned experts focus on unique challenges in creating sustainable and affordable innovation for a future-facing value-based health care environment.
We offer thoughtfully designed platforms for research groups and startups to engage with strategic partners and entrepreneurs. Additionally, networking events showcase UT Austin’s research assets and build strong connections between academics, clinicians and industry.
