Brigid Keenan is the Administrative Manager for Bill Tierney, MD, Professor and Chair of Population Health. Brigid joined Dell Med in 2014 to assist in the early efforts of the Strategy & Partnerships team to launch new initiatives, advance innovation and build public, private and academic partnerships; but found herself drawn to the Population Health team’s connectivity with the community and mission to improve health and access to care for everyone in the greater Austin area.
Prior to Dell Med, Brigid held positions assisting CEOs and senior executives at several publicly traded companies and worked as an assistant in the Michigan Governor’s office. Outside of work, Brigid focuses her energy on supporting her two creative children, who are currently pursuing their passions for music and theater, and enjoying the vibrant Austin music and food scene.
Brigid arrived in Austin in 2004, and did not move here from California (but for the record, she really likes California). She has previously lived in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee; and spent her first 24 years in Michigan, where she acquired her Midwestern values, an aversion to cold weather, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University (Go Green!).
