Dell Med Research Support
Office of Research
The Dell Medical School Office of Research facilitates research at the medical school by providing sponsored projects proposal administration funding, post-award administration and regulatory affairs guidance for faculty, staff and student research projects.
The office also works to connect and align research administration, vision and strategic planning across Dell Med departments and administrative teams and with The University of Texas at Austin and partner organizations.
Health Transformation Research Institute
The Health Transformation Research Institute provides leadership and infrastructure to support robust, innovative and world-class clinical and late-stage (T3-T5) translational research. This team supports training for Dell Med researchers and learners conducting translational investigation, as well as the development of an integrated learning health system in which research is embedded in, drives and reinforces excellence in clinical, educational and community-focused missions.
Biomedical Data Science Hub
The Biomedical Data Science Hub collaborates with researchers, community stakeholders and the data integration team to use data more effectively and efficiently to improve health outcomes. These data scientists work closely with researchers to conceptualize and design studies and methods, then analyze and interpret large datasets to find answers to important, timely local questions that inform clinical and public health practice.
Conducting Research at Dell Med
The Office of Research maintains the public research section of the Dell Med intranet. There, the office posts policies, processes, forms and other information related to conducting research at Dell Med.
