The department also identifies current and future needs for faculty to deliver the education mission, helps to create succession plans for a strong and diverse teaching faculty, and awards excellence in teaching by sponsoring the Academy of Teachers.

We offer an abundance of clinical experience opportunities for residents or fellows in their chosen specialties, with new opportunities in innovative medical education, clinical research and patient care.
The Pre-Health Professions team develops and oversees programs focused on introducing the health sciences to middle school, high school and undergraduate students.
Dell Med facilitates educational opportunities for a range of learners to advance innovation, train physician leaders and promote new models of person-centered, multidisciplinary care.
