About the Event

Music can be a universally healing force that brings communities together. How can we engage in music to heal patients, families and caregivers?

A panel of practitioners, who live and work at the intersection of music and medicine, discuss the ways they integrate music into aspects of clinical practice.

The panel:

  • Melanie Ambler, M.D.: Cellist; Medical student, Stanford Medical School
  • Lisa Wong, M.D.: Violinist; Associate Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Arts and Humanities Initiative, Harvard Medical School
