About the Event

In this installment of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Grand Rounds, Leslie Morland, Psy.D., presents “Psychedelic Assisted Therapy for PTSD.” Morland is a professor of psychiatry in the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. She is also a senior researcher at the VA National Center for PTSD Women’s Health Science Division.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:

  1. Identify why MDMA is a unique candidate for PTSD treatment therapy augmentation.
  2. Describe criticisms of recent phase III MDMA research for PTSD.
  3. Identify new treatment models for MDMA assisted therapy for PTSD.
