Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Name at least five different chronic diseases that have become increasingly common over the last few hundred years.
- Compare and contrast the health of hunter gatherers to those of people living in the post-industrial era.
- Identify risk factors for various chronic diseases that have become much more prevalent over the last few hundred years.
- Distinguish evidence-based interventions that help make a healthier diet and regular exercise more probable.
