About the Event

Dell Medical School’s Department of Pediatrics is hosting its annual Pediatric Research Symposium to highlight the department’s research, create awareness throughout the department about work done in other divisions and provide an opportunity for trainees and faculty to present locally before presenting at national meetings.

Noon-1p.m. | Keynote Speaker

1-3:30 p.m. | Oral Research Presentations
Abstracts accepted as presentations are assigned an eight-minute session followed by two minutes for Q&A.

4:30-6 p.m. | Poster Reception
Authors explain their work and answer questions. Poster awards are presented for:

  • Best Student Poster (Undergraduate, Graduate or Medical Student)
  • Best Resident Poster
  • Best Fellow Poster
  • Best Staff Poster
  • Best Faculty Poster

Call for Abstracts

Submission deadline: Feb. 11

Students, residents, fellows and faculty are invited to submit abstracts for research and quality improvement projects in pediatrics. Learn more & submit an abstract »

Abstracts can be accepted as presentations or as posters, with presentation opportunities during the event.
