About the Event
In this installment of Pediatric Grand Rounds, Shauna R. Schroeder, M.D., presents “Eosinophilic Esophagitis and New Diagnostic Technologies.” Schroeder serves as co-medical director for the Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease Clinic and director for the Transnasal Endoscopy Clinic at Phoenix Children’s. She is also an educator for the Allergy Immunology Fellowship program at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.

By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Recognize the burden of EoE.
- Identify the clinical signs and symptoms of EoE.
- Diagnose considerations for pediatric patients with EoE.
- Explore current and future treatments for EoE.
- Collaboratively care for the pediatric patient with EoE.
- Discuss innovative testing and surveillance for EoE.
