In this installment of Neurosurgery Grand Rounds, Rich Byrne, M.D., presents “Artificial Intelligence in Neurosurgery.” Byrne serves as the department chair for the Department of Neurologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic Florida.

By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Describe recent advances in artificial intelligence and how they are already affecting neurosurgery
- Describe limitations of the application of artificial intelligence in neurosurgery
- List the potential opportunities you may have by incorporating artificial intelligence in neurosurgery research
