About the Event
In this installment of Neurology Grand Rounds, Toossi Shahed, M.D., presents “The Neurocritical Care Management of Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.” Dr. Shahed is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Dell Medical School.

Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
1. Review the early and delayed complications of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
2. Review the updated, evidenced-based approach to the evaluation, prevention and management of delayed cerebral ischemia.
3. Understand the most serious systemic complications that may affect a neurocritically ill patient with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
