About the Event
In this installment of Internal Medicine Grand Rounds, Cara Varley, M.D., MPH, presents “Why Should Tuberculosis Be on Your Differential Diagnosis?” Varley is an assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Oregon Health & Science University’s School of Medicine. She is also an assistant professor at OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.

Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Identify which patients to prioritize for TB infection testing and treatment.
- Identify needed additional testing after a positive IGRA or PPD.
- Identify who needs mycobacterial sputum cultures.

- Primary: Internal medicine faculty, fellows and residents; associate providers
- Secondary: Medical students; family medicine faculty and residents
