About the Event
In this installment of Internal Medicine Grand Rounds, Jeanne Kowalski, Ph.D., presents “Off-Script Care: From the Rulebook to the Information-Evidence Playbook for Clinical Decision Support.” Kowalski is a professor in the Division of Oncology and is the co-leader of the Quantitative Oncology Research Program at Dell Medical School.

Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:
- Identify clinical scenarios that represent off-script care where traditional guideline-based evidence is limited or unavailable.
- Describe how the aggregation of multimodal sources of information supports evidence gathering and synthesis to enhance decision support for patients lacking results-based evidence.
- Evaluate and justify data-informed clinical decisions in complex or ambiguous care settings using an evidence-based approach.

- Primary: Internal Medicine faculty, residents, fellows, associate providers
- Secondary: Medical students, Family Medicine faculty and residents
