Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:

1. Discuss the risks and implications of narcotic use in hospitalized patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) flares.
2. Apply evidence-based strategies for managing pain in IBD flares while minimizing opioid exposure.
3. Demonstrate increased confidence and competence in discussing narcotic risks and pain management options with patients.

“Designing Belonging in Residency: Leadership, Community, and Outcomes Beyond Burnout”

Learning Objectives
By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:

1. Analyze the role of belonging, social connectedness, and structured support in resident well-being using current graduate medical education literature.
2. Evaluate the design, strengths, and limitations of a multi-component community-based intervention model.
3. Design a feasible, program-specific framework to enhance resident belonging and well-being that incorporates structured community-building, targeted interventions, and longitudinal peer support.
