About the Event

In this installment of Internal Medicine Grand Rounds, Lee Lindquist, M.D., MPH, MBA, presents “Aging in Place: A Geriatric Voyage.” Lindquist is the division chief of geriatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Objectives

By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:

  1. Identify aging-in-place challenges that older adult patients experience.
  2. Determine strategies that can help older adults accept home services.
  3. Discuss resources that can help older adults plan for services in real-world health care settings.
  4. Review how health systems can facilitate older adults aging in place from a systems-level approach.

Target Audience

  • Primary: Internal Medicine faculty, residents, fellows and associate providers
  • Secondary: Medical students, family medicine faculty and residents
