About the Event

The Center for Health and Environment: Education and Research (CHEER) Seminar Series highlights environmental health-related work at UT and in the Austin metropolitan area.

Marianthi-Anna Kioumourtzoglou, MSPH, Sc.D., presents “Tales of Climate and Health Research: Extreme Heat, Tropical Cyclones and Wildfires,” where she will discuss her research findings. Kioumourtzoglou is an associate professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
