In this installment of Best Practices in Medical Education Grand Rounds, K. Christopher McMains, M.D., Ph.D., presents “Fostering Professional Identity Formation in Graduate Medical Education: A Framework for Program Directors and Faculty.” McMains is a professor of surgery for Uniformed Services University. He also serves as director of faculty development for the Audie L. Murphy Division in the South Texas Veterans Health Care System.
