In this installment of the Global Health AMPATH/MAPAS México Monthly Seminar series, Dr. Josuha Alexander Palma Tavera will collaborate with the UT-BUAP project on Mental Health Screening in Primary Care in Mexico and Texas.

The Global Health AMPATH/MAPAS México collaborative monthly seminar is presented by The University of Texas at Austin and the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Puebla, Mexico, and co-sponsored by the LLILAS Benson Mexico Center to improve the health of vulnerable populations in our two countries. In addition to diabetes, cardiovascular disease is another leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Texas and Mexico and was identified as the second top health priority by rural communities surrounding Puebla, Mexico.
