About the Event
The Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care’s annual research symposium enhances awareness of research taking place in the department and provide networking and presentation opportunities for attendees.
Andrew P. Loehrer, M.D., MPH, is the visiting professor for the event. Loehrer is an associate professor of surgery at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and an associate professor of The Dartmouth Institute. He is a surgical oncologist and a health services researcher with a focus on marginalized and oppressed populations, including evaluation of state and federal health policy, racial and socioeconomic inequity in health and health care, and care delivery for diverse populations.
