About the Event

Designed for pediatricians and other practitioners involved in the care of children, this event features interactive presentations by faculty members of UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s. Each presentation provides specific techniques and evidence-based recommendations for diagnosis and management of neurological conditions commonly encountered by the general pediatrician.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity:

  1. Physician/learners will be able to discuss etiology, pathophysiology, assessment, treatment plans and evaluation of infants and children with select neurological conditions.
  2. Nursing/learners will identify how evidence based communication and interprofessional teams including support groups can improve care of children with neurological disorders.
  3. Interdisciplinary audience/learners will identify the role of interdisciplinary care in managing patients with common neurological disorders.
