Dell Medical School’s Department of Pediatrics is hosting its annual Pediatric Research Symposium to highlight the department’s research, create awareness throughout the department about work done in other divisions and provide an opportunity for trainees and faculty to present locally before presenting at national meetings.

Noon-1 p.m. | Keynote Speaker and Lunch
Jason S. McLellan, Ph.D., presents “Structure-based Vaccine Antigen Design.” He serves as the Robert A. Welch Chair in Chemistry and is a professor in the Department of Molecular Biosciences within UT’s College of Natural Sciences.

1-4:30 p.m. | Oral Research and Quality Improvement Presentations
Abstracts accepted as presentations are assigned an eight-minute session followed by two minutes for Q&A.

4:30-5:30 p.m. | Poster Reception
Authors discuss their projects and answer questions. Voting for Best Poster occurs.
