Application Details

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the clinical neuropsychology program, applicants must have either:

  • Anticipated completion of a doctoral degree from an American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association accredited program in one of the health service delivery areas of psychology (for example: clinical, counseling, school, clinical neuropsychology, health psychology) prior to program start date; or
  • A doctoral degree in psychology with additional completion of a respecialization program designed to meet equivalent criteria as a health services delivery training program in psychology.

Additional educational requirements include:

  • Dissertation must be completed by the program start date.
  • Graduate training or the respecialization program must contain the majority of the coursework in the generic psychology and generic clinical core areas of the Houston Conference guidelines as well as additional coursework in brain-behavior relationships and the practice of clinical neuropsychology consistent with the guidelines.
  • The graduate school curriculum must include clinical training and competence with research methodology to meet equivalent criteria as a health services delivery professional in the scientist-practitioner model.

Applicants must also have anticipated completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology internship with at least one neuropsychology rotation experience.

Application Procedure

The fellowship is a member program of the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology and is recruiting one fellow for the major area of study in pediatric neuropsychology and two fellows for the major area of study in adult neuropsychology in the 2025 match.
