Sylvia DuRant, M.A.

Sylvia DuRant focuses on advancing philanthropic partnerships with corporations and foundations to support the school’s pillars of work. DuRant has more than 20 years of experience in higher education fundraising and partnership building. Sylvia joined The University of Texas at Austin in 2020, first serving in foundation relations and then corporate relations team. Prior to UT, DuRant held corporate and foundation relations leadership roles at Elon University, Wake Forest University and Duke University. She holds an M.A. in human sciences from Hood College and a B.A. in anthropology from Towson University.
