Sylvia DuRant, M.A.

Sylvia DuRant focuses on advancing philanthropic partnerships with corporations and foundations to support Dell Medical School and the University of Texas Medical Center. DuRant has more than 20 years of experience in higher education fundraising and partnership building. Sylvia joined The University of Texas at Austin in 2020, first serving in leadership roles in foundation relations and then in the corporate relations team. Prior to UT, DuRant held corporate and foundation relations leadership roles at Elon University, Wake Forest University and Duke University. She holds an M.A. in human sciences from Hood College and a B.A. in anthropology from Towson University.
