Sydney Bair

About

Sydney Bair is a senior grants and contracts specialist for Dell Medical School’s Office of Research, where she is responsible for supporting faculty with comprehensive pre-award assistance. This includes budget development, collection of documents from all third-party participants, management of the electronic submission process when appropriate and serving as the liaison between the faculty member and the Office of Sponsored Projects.

Prior to joining Dell Med, Bair worked in grants administration at American University in Washington, D.C., where she was responsible for the post-award management of all sponsored project accounts for the School of Public Affairs. She is excited to bring her post-award background to her pre-award role at Dell Med to help make the transition from proposal to award as seamless as possible.

Bair received her bachelor’s in business administration from Coastal Carolina University and her master’s in strategic communication from American University.
