Sima Patel, MHA

Sima Patel is the senior director of operations and strategy in the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School. She is responsible for the overall strategic, administrative, operational and financial matters within the department, in support of the department chair, Leah Harris, M.D.

Patel joins Dell Medical School with over 10 years of experience in health care management. She has held various administrative leadership positions within the Texas Ascension Medical Group, specifically with adult and pediatric psychiatry and neurosciences medicine. She has experience in business development, clinic operations and clinical practice management. Patel received her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her master’s in healthcare administration and leadership from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
